879. 가을의 나무

사랑)가을의 나무를 바라봅니다.(사랑)

한여름 내내 뜨거운 햇볕과 비바람을 견딘 나무는 열매를 자신이 먹지 않습니다.

사과나무는 사과를 세상에 내어주고, 감나무는 감을 사람에게 내어줍니다.
마지막에는 그토록 소중하게 품었던 잎마저 내려놓습니다.

그래서 저는 가을을 바라볼 때마다 생각합니다

참 잘 사는 인생도 저 나무와 닮아야 하지 않을까?

내가 가진 것을 움켜쥐는 삶보다 조금이라도 나누는 삶,

나만 잘되는 삶보다 함께 잘 되는 삶,

내 이름을 높이는 삶보다 누군가의 눈물을 닦아주는 삶,

그것이 바로 자리이타 (自利利他)의 삶이며, 생가복덕(生家福德)의 길이라고 생각합니다.

“선을 쌓는 집에는 반드시 남은 경사가 있다”고 했습니다.

선행은 당장 통장에 숫자로 찍히지 않습니다.
그러나 어려울 때 내 손을 잡아주는 사람이 되고, 자식에게 좋은 인연으로 돌아오며, 세상을 떠난 뒤에도 “참 따뜻한 사람이었다”는 이름으로 남습니다.

어쩌면 그것이 우리가 세상에 남길 수 있는 가장 큰 재산인지도 모릅니다. 　

가을은 우리에게 말없이 가르칩니다.
익을수록 고개를 숙이라고,
채웠으면 나누라고,
때가 되면 내려놓으라고,
그리고 지금 곁에 있는 사람을 사랑하라고...

우리에게 주어진 오늘은 두 번 다시 돌아오지 않습니다.
돈은 잃었다가 다시 벌 수도 있지만, 흘러간 시간은 다시 살 수 없습니다.

그러니 오늘 하루만큼은 더 가지지 못한 것을 아쉬워하기보다 이미 가진 것에 감사했으면 좋겠습니다.

“당신 때문에 행복했던 사람이 몇 명이나 있습니까?”

그 질문 앞에서 환하게 웃을 수 있는 삶이라면, 참 잘 살아온 인생일 것입니다. 　

청명한 가을 하늘을 올려다보며 자연법칙의 오묘함에 감사드립니다.

오늘도 욕심 하나는 내려놓고, 감사 하나는 더하고, 따뜻한 말 한 마디를 나누며 살아가는 날이 되시길 바랍니다.

재물보다 사람을 남기고, 명예보다 사랑을 남기며,
내가 머물다 간 자리에 작은 행복 하나라도 남기는 삶이 충분히 아름답지 않을까요?

좋은 마음은 복을 낳고, 베푼 사랑은 세월이 지나도 사라지지 않습니다.

오늘도 우리 모두 욕심보다 감사가 많고, 근심보다 웃음이 많으며, 나보다 우리를 생각하는 하루가 되기를 소원합니다.
((Love) I look at the autumn tree. (Love)

A tree that has endured the scorching sun and stormy weather all summer does not eat its own fruit.

The apple tree gives apples to the world, and the persimmon tree gives persimmons to people.
In the end, it even lays down the leaf it had cherished so deeply.

So every time I look at autumn, I think to myself

Shouldn't a truly prosperous life also resemble that tree?

A life of sharing even a little rather than clutching only what I have,

A life where we all succeed together, rather than just me,

A life that wipes away someone's tears rather than one that makes my name known,

I believe that is the life of self-benefit for others and the path to the blessings of one’s birth.

It is said, “Every house built on good lines has a remaining slope.”

Good deeds do not appear as numbers in the bank account immediately.
But they become the one who holds your hand in hardship, return to your children as a good connection, and remain known as "a truly warm person" even after they are gone.

Perhaps that is the greatest legacy we can leave behind on this world. 　

Autumn silently teaches us.
As it ripens, bow your head,
If you've filled it, then share it,
Let me go when the time comes,
And love the person who is by your side now...

The today given to us will not come again.
You can lose money and win it back, but you cannot buy back the time that has passed.

So for today, I hope you’ll be grateful for what you already have rather than regretting what you don’t have.

"How many people were happy because of you

If you can smile brightly in the face of that question, then you have truly lived a good life. 　

Looking up at the clear autumn sky, I am grateful for the subtlety of the laws of nature.

May today be a day where you let go of one greed, add one more act of gratitude, and share a kind word.

Leaving people behind

rather than wealth, leaving love behind rather than honor,
Wouldn't a life that leaves behind even a small piece of happiness where you stayed be beautiful enough?

Kind hearts give birth to blessings, and the love you give does not fade even through the ages.

Today, I hope that we all have more gratitude than greed, more laughter than worry, and that we think of one another more than ourselves.)
