헛됨 속에서 찾은 진짜 인생

둘째, “겸허하라!”

“사람은 자기 인생조차 자기 뜻대로 할 수 없다.”

셋째, “현재를 누려라!”

솔로몬의 마지막 조언은 놀랍도록 단순했다.

“먹고 마시며, 주어진 일상 속에서 기뻐하라.”
대단한 목표를 이루는 삶이 아니라,
지금 이 순간,

나의 하루,

내 앞에 있는 밥 한 끼에 감사하며 사는 것이,
가장 지혜로운 삶이라고 말했다.

욕심을 덜고, 비교하지 말고, 오늘 주어진 하루를 누리라고 했다.

살아 있음 그 자체가 선물이라고...

사람은 종종 ‘더 큰 것’을 좇는다.

더 많은 돈,
더 높은 자리,
더 멋진 사람들.

그런데 그 끝에 무엇이 있을까?
