사군자(四君子)와 인품(人品)

동물이나 식물이나 생명체(生命體)에는 독특(獨特)한 냄새가 있습니다.

동물은 짐승에 따라 각각 다른 냄새가 있고, 식물도 종류에 따라 다른 냄새가 있는데 우리는 그것을 "향기(香氣)"라고 합니다.

지구상에 만물(萬物)의 영장(靈長)인 인간(人間)에게도 냄새가 있습니다.

체취는 의식주와 환경에 따라 생기는 냄새이고 사람 냄새를 이야기할 때는 체취(體臭)가 아닌 사람 됨됨이에서 풍기는 냄새를 말하며 우리는 그것을 "인품(人品)"이라고 합니다.

옛날부터 동양인들은 덕성(德性)과 지성(知性)을 겸비한 최고의 인격자를 가리켜 "군자(君子)"라고 칭(稱)했고, 선비들은 철 따라 피는 꽃 중에서 매화(梅), 난(蘭), 국화(菊), 대나무(竹)를 가리켜 "사군자"라 칭하고 묵화(墨畵)를 치며 군자의 도를 닦았습니다.

20 까지를 인생의 봄으로 간주해 매화와 같은 기상으로, 40 까지를 난과 같은 자세로, 60 까지를 국화와 같은 마음으로, 80 까지를 대나무 같은 절개로 삼아 4 군자의 향기를 고루 가지고 살기를 바랐습니다.

이른 봄의 추위를 무릅쓰고 제일 먼저 꽃을 피우는 매화의 꽃말은 "맑은 기상, 인내, 순진무구"입니다. 20 살까지는 부모의 영향을 받고 자라는 것이 보통인데 부모는 자손들이 매화와 같이 "맑은 기상"으로 잘 자랄 수 있도록 도와야 할 책임이 있습니다.

깊은 산 골짜기에서 은은한 향기를 멀리멀리 퍼뜨리며 고고한 자체를 뽐내는 난의 꽃말은 "고결함"입니다.

공자는 삼십 '이립(而立)'이요, 사십 '불혹(不惑)'이라 하여 나이 30 살에 모든 기초를 세워 홀로 서고 40 살에 사물의 이치를 터득하여 세상 유혹에 흔들리지 않았다고 하였습니다.

난(蘭)과 같이 고상(高尙)하고 결백(潔白)한 향기(香氣)를 간직할 때입니다.

국화의 꽃말은 "성실(誠實), 청결(淸潔)"입니다.

국화는 가을의 대표적인 꽃으로 모든 꽃들이 지는 계절에 홀로 피어나 찬서리에도 그 모습이 아름답고 향기 또한 그윽해 어떤 꽃들보다 으뜸입니다.

60 까지는 가져야 할 향기입니다.

곧은 줄기에 사시사철 푸름을 잃지 않는 대나무의 꽃말은 "변함없는 절개(節槪)"입니다.

후손(後孫)이나 후배(後輩)들에게 본이 되어야 할

인생(人生)의 막다른 어귀에서 뚜렷한 사상(思想)이나 철학(哲學) 없이 오락가락하는 세태(世態)를 보면서 일생(一生)을 잘 정리하기를 바라는 마음으로 대나무의 꽃말을 되새기게 합니다.

우리 모두 맑은 기상과 고상하며 성실하고 변함없는 절개의 사람 냄새인 고매한 인품의 향기를 풍기며 사군자답게 인생을 살았으면 좋겠습니다.

우리는 어떤 사람들과 있느냐에 따라서 향기로운 사람이 될 수도 냄새나는 사람이 될 수도 있습니다.

모두가 향기로운 사람이 되어서 내 주변 많은 사람들에게 향기 나는 인생을 선물하는 우리 모두가 됩시다.
(Four 君 and human 品

Animals, plants, and living 命 have a unique smell of 獨特.

Animals have different smells from animal to animal, and plants have different smells from type to type, which we call "香."

Human 間, the 靈 of all things on Earth, also have a smell.

Body odor is a smell that occurs according to food, clothing, shelter, and the environment, and when we talk about human 臭, it is the smell that comes from being a person, not a body odor, and we call it "human 品."

Since ancient times, Asians have called them "君" as the best person with virtue and intelligence, and scholars have called apricot flowers (梅), orchids (蘭), chrysanthemums (菊), and bamboo (竹) among the flowers that bloom along the season, calling them "墨" and playing 稱 (묵) to polish the philosophy of the king.

I wanted to live up to 20 years as the spring of my life, to live up to 40 years in the same posture as the Japanese apricot flower, to 60 years in the same mind as the chrysanthemum, and to 80 years in the bamboo-like incision with the scent of the four kings evenly.

The flower word of the apricot flower, which blooms first despite the cold of early spring, is "clear wakefulness, patience, and innocence." Until the age of 20, it is normal to grow under the influence of parents, but parents are responsible for helping their offspring grow up well in a "clean state" like plum blossoms.

Nan's flower word, which spreads its subtle scent far and wide in the valley of the deep mountain, is "honesty."

Confucius said that he was not swayed by the temptation of the world by establishing all the foundations at the age of 30 and learning the principles of things at the age of 40, called "而" and "Bulhok."

It's time to keep the scent of high 尙 and 潔 like 蘭.

The flower word for chrysanthemum is "誠實" and "cleanliness" (潔).

Chrysanthemums are the representative flowers of autumn, blooming alone in the season when all flowers fall, and they look beautiful even in the cold, and the scent is also deeper than any other flowers.

It's a scent you should have up to 60.

The flower word for bamboo, which does not lose its greenness all year round on straight stems, is "unchanging incision (節槪)."

It should be a model for future 孫 or juniors

Looking at the world of 態, which fluctuates without

clear 思想 or philosophy at the end of human life, it reminds me of the flower words of bamboo in the hope of organizing my life well.

I hope we all live our lives like a monk with a clear spirit, a noble, sincere, and unwavering scent of personality.

We can be fragrant or smelly depending on what kind of people we are with.
