내 집' 수저가 금수저보다 낫다

노년의 최고 권력은 통장 잔고가 아니라 '내 집 현관 키'에서 나옵니다.
자식 집은 아무리 넓어도 며느리 성(城)이고 사위 성입니다.
거기 들어가는 순간, 화장실 물 내리는 소리조차 눈치 봐야 하는 '투명 인간' 생활 시작이지요.
비록 낡았어도 내 집에서는 내가 왕입니다.
며느리 눈치 보며 먹는 소갈비보다, 내 식탁에서 속옷 차림으로 물 말아 풋고추 찍어 먹는 그 한 입이 진정한 황제의 식사입니다.
내 집 문서는 자식 앞에서 허리 꼿꼿이 세워주는 마지막 '마패'이니 절대 넘겨주지 마십시오!

🔹️ '연금 삼총사'는 자식보다 든든하다

자식 용돈은 형편 따라 '줬다 안 줬다' 밀당을 하지만, 국가가 주는 연금은 눈비가 오나 바람이 부나 날짜 맞춰 꼬박꼬박 통장에 찍힙니다.
퇴직금 일시불로 타서 자식 사업 밑천 대주는 건 '황금알 낳는 거위'의 배를 가르는 격입니다.

베란다 상추랑 대화하고, 유튜브로 전 세계 여행하고, 뒷산 약수터에서 다람쥐랑 인사하다 보면 하루 24시간이 모자랍니다.
누군가 나를 찾아주길 기다리기보다, 나 스스로 나의 가장 좋은 친구가 되어주는 것. 그것이 노년 최고의 '무기'입니다.

🔹️ '빈손'으로 왔으니 '빈손'으로 가는 게 예의다

수십억 자산가면 뭐 합니까?
돈 쓸 줄 모르면 그냥 숫자 구경꾼일 뿐이지요.
친구랑 국밥 한 그릇 편하게 사 먹고, 손주 녀석 왔을 때 지갑에서 빳빳한 신사임당 한 장 쓱 꺼내 줄 수 있다면 그게 바로 재벌입니다.

유산 미리 물려주고 뒷방 신세 지지 마십시오.
죽을 때까지 내가 쥐고 떵떵거리며 쓰다가, 빚 안 남기고 깨끗하게 '0원' 만들고 가는 것이 자식에게 주는 최고의 상속이자 내 인생에 대한 예의입니다.
