매듭이 있다면 풀고 가세요.

세상 살면서 어찌
나를 싫어하고

질시하는 사람이 없겠습니까 

내가 잘 나가던 못 나가던
질시하거나

질타하는 이웃은 있습니다. 

그 문제를 잘 헤아리는 지혜가
그 사람의 인생의 길을 결정해주는
지표입니다. 

사람들의 심성은 대개가
남을 칭찬하는 쪽보다

남을 흉보는 쪽으로
치우쳐져 있습니다. 

그 치우쳐져 있는 것을

바르게 세우는 것이
교육이요,

수련이며 자기 성찰입니다. 

그 모든 수단이
자기에게 도전하는

적을 없애는 좋은 방법입니다. 

그래서 옛말에 이렇게들 말하지요
백명의 친구가 있는 것 보다
한명의 적이 무섭다고 했습니다.
맞는 말입니다. 


백명의 친구가 나를 위해준다 해도
마지막 한명의 적이 나를 무너뜨리기엔
충분한 것입니다. 

그래서 세상 사는 것을

뒤돌아보라는 것입니다. 

지금 내가 강하고 세다고
보잘것없는 사람들 무시했다간
언젠가는 내 앞에

강한 사람이 서 있게 된다는 것
그것은 거짓 없는 현실입니다. 

올 한해 어쩌다가 행여
매듭이 만들어진 부분이 있다면
반드시 풀고 가십시오. 

오래도록 풀지 않고 있으면
훗날 아주 풀기 힘든

매듭이 될 수 있습니다. 

인연은 운명이고
관계는 노력입니다.
