514. 만상불여 심상

萬相 不如 心相♡

-착한 심상은 사주팔자를 바꾼다.
중국 당나라 후기에, 마의선사(麻衣禪師)는 주로 삼베옷을 즐겨 입었는데, 그는 천문, 지리, 주역, 기문, 둔갑, 명리 등에 통달하였다.
그런 그가 50살이 넘어서 아들 둘을 낳았는데, 늦게 본 자식인지라 금지옥엽(金枝玉葉)으로 키웠다.

그러던 어느 날 아이들을 문득 보니, 열 살이 훌쩍 넘은 소년이 되었기에 사주팔자(四柱八字)로 아이들의 장래를 감정해 보기로 했다.
그랬더니 큰아들은 재상이 되고, 작은아들은 거지가 되는 것으로 나타났다.
그래서 아이들을 불러 앉혀놓고, 운명감정의 결과에 대해서 이야기를 했다.
“첫째야,
너는 이 다음에 나라의 재상이 될 팔자이니 열심히 공부를 하여라.
둘째야,
너는 거지팔자를 타고 났으니 그냥 놀고 잘 먹기나 하여라!
이 애비가 틀린 적이 한 번도 없으니 너희도 사주팔자대로 사는 수밖에 더 있겠느냐.”

거지팔자라는 소리에 충격을 받은 둘째 아들은 "거지팔자라면 집에 있을 필요가 없지 않은가"하고 아버지에게 작별 인사를 고하고 노잣 돈 몇 푼을 받아 가지고 세상 속으로 나갔다.
그러던 어느 날 가졌던 돈이 다 떨어졌고, 아버지의 말처럼 거지 노릇을 할 수 밖에 없게 되었다.
그래서 얻어 먹을 곳을 찾다가 큰 부잣집 하나를 발견했다.
“밥 좀 주세요”하고 구걸을 하여, 게 눈 감추듯 밥 한 그릇을 비웠지만,
다음 끼니가 또 걱정되었다.

그때 시끄러운 소리가 들려오기에 돌아보았더니, 들에 나가 일하던 머슴들이었다.
잠자리, 먹거리 걱정을 하지 않는 그들이 부러웠다.
그래서, 머슴이 되기로 작정하고 주인에게 간청을 하여, 그날부터 부지런하고 성실하게 일을 하였다.

2년쯤 지났을 때 주인이 곳간지기로 발탁을 하였다.
그는 더욱 열심히 일을 했다.
이에 감동을 한 주인이 무남독녀인 자기 딸과 혼인을 시키려고 하였다.
그래서, 둘째 아들은 부모님께 허락을 받으려고 옛 집을 다시 찾아갔다.

그 동안 둘째 아들이 살았는지 죽었는지 소식을 몰라서 애태우던 마의선사(麻衣禪師)는 늠름한 청년으로 성장한 둘째 아들을 보고 매우 깜짝 놀랐다.
둘째의 얼굴이 재상감으로 변해 있었기 때문이다.
거지팔자를 타고난 둘째 아들은 자신의 노력으로 나중에 재상까지 하게 되었다.
한편, 재상이 될 팔자라고 했던 큰 아들은 늘 방탕한 생활을 즐겼으며,
결국 나중에는 거지가 되었다.
거지가 된 큰 아들의 얼굴을 보니까 거지가 될 상으로 이미 변해 있었다.

마의선사(麻衣禪師)는 후세를 위해서 다음과 같은 교훈을 남겼다.
“사주불여신상(四柱不如身相) 하고, 신상불여심상(身相不如心相)이다."
즉, “사주(四柱)는 신상(身相) 보다 못하고, 신상(身相)은 심상(心相)보다 못하다.”
결국, 심상(心相)이 가장 으뜸이라고 결론지었습니다. 
모든 것은 생각하기 나름이고 보기 나름입니다.
당신이 생각하는 것이 당신을 만듭니다.

우리들은 생각을 바꿈으로써 인생을 바꿀 수가 있습니다.”
말하자면, 행복을 생각하면 행복해지고, 비참한 생각을 하면 비참해지고, 병적인 생각을 하면 정말 아프고,  실패를 생각하면 정말 실패한다는 이야기입니다.

🌴심리학자 윌리엄 제임스(William James)가 말하는 "생각이 바뀌면 습관이 바뀌고, 습관이 바뀌면 행동이 바뀌고,
행동이 바뀌면 성격이 바뀌고, 성격이 바뀌면 인격이 바뀌고,
인격이 바뀌면 운명이 바뀐다“
는 말과 일맥상통하다고 말할 수 있다 하겠습니다.🌾

이제부터라도 말과 행동, 습관을 긍정적으로 생각하며 남은 여생 열심히 살아가심이 어떨런지요~

-A good image changes one's fortune.
In the late Tang Dynasty in China, 麻衣禪, a preacher of Mai, mainly enjoyed wearing hemp clothes, and he was well versed in astronomy, geography, protagonist, qimun, dungap, and Myeongri.
He gave birth to two sons over the age of 50, but he raised them as a 枝玉葉 because he saw them late.

Then one day, when I suddenly saw the children, I became a boy over 10 years old, so I decided to evaluate the children's future with four 柱八 characters.
Then, it was found that the eldest son became a prime minister and the younger son became a beggar.
So I called the children and talked about the outcome of the feeling of fate.
"It's my first,
You will be the next prime minister of the country, so study hard.
Second child,
You're born a beggar, so just play and eat well!
Since this lady has never been wrong, why do you have no choice but to live according to her fortune-telling?"

The second son, who was shocked by the sound of beggars selling, said, "If you're beggars, you don't have to stay at home, don't you?" and said goodbye to his father and went out into the world with some money.
Then one day, all the money I had ran out, and as my father said, I had no choice but to be a beggar.
So I found a big rich family while looking for a place to get food.
"Give me some rice," he begged, and emptied a bowl of rice as if to hide his crab eyes,
I was worried about my next meal again.

At that time, when I heard a loud noise, I turned around and found that they were working in the field.
I envied them for not worrying about dragonflies and food.
So, he decided to become a servant and begged his master, and from that day on, he worked diligently and sincerely.

About two years later, the owner was selected as a shopkeeper.
He worked harder.
The owner, who was moved by this, tried to marry his daughter, who is a male and female only.
So, the second son went back to his old house to get permission from his parents.

In the meantime, 麻衣禪, who had been anxious because he did not know whether his second son lived or died, was very surprised to see his second son, who grew up as a dashing young man.
This is because the second child's face was turned into a re-invasion.
The second son, who was born as a beggar, was later re-imagined through his efforts.
On the other hand, the eldest son, who was said to be a prime minister, always enjoyed a profligate life,
Eventually, he became a beggar later.
When I saw the face of my eldest son who became a beggar, he had already turned into a beggar.

The following lessons were learned for future generations by the prehistoric 麻衣禪.
"It is the 如身 of the Buddha's 柱 and the 身 of the Buddha's 如."
In other words, "the four 柱 are inferior to the 身 phase, and the 身 phase is inferior to the image phase."
In the end, we concluded that imagery was the best thing. 
Everything depends on what you think and how you look.
What you think makes you.

We can change our lives by changing our minds."
In other words, when you think of happiness, you become happy, when you

think of miserable thoughts, you become miserable, when you think of pathological thoughts, it really hurts, and when you think of failure, you really fail.

🌴 Psychologist William James says, "When you change your mind, your habits change, your behavior changes,
If your behavior changes, your personality changes, your personality changes,
"When you change your personality, your fate changes."
I can say that it is in line with the words. 🌾

From now on, think positively about your words, actions, and habits and live hard for the rest of your life
You'll have only good things today.)
