참 "잘" 했어요

"참 잘 했어요!"라고할 때, 잘은 어느 정도의 칭찬일까?

"잘"의 숫자는 얼마일까?

사람들의 생각에 공통 분모가 있다면 아마도 ‘세월이 참 빠르구나!’ 하는 것일게다.

실은 세월이 빠른 것은 우리가 보내는 1년 365일, 12개월, 1주일, 하루 24시간, 1시간, 1분, 1초 라는 시간이 너무 짧기 때문에 그리 느끼는 것이다.

우리가 흔히 ‘많다’는 표현으로 ‘억(億) 이라는 수(數)를 쓴다. 그런데 알고 보면 억 보다는 훨씬 더 큰 수들이 많다.

"억"의 만배를 '조(兆)', 조의 만배를 '경(京)'이라 하는 것은 누구나 잘 안다.

그러나 '경'의 만배를 '해(垓)', '해'의 만 배를 '자(秭)', '자'의 만 배를 '양'(壤)이라고 한다.

그 뿐이 아니다.

'양'의 만 배가 '구(溝)',
'구'의 만 배는 '간(澗)',
'간'의 만 배는 '정(正)',
'정'의 만 배는 '재(載)',
'재'의 만 배는 '극(極)'이라 한다.

여기가 끝이 아니다. 불가에서는 극의 억 배가 되는 수가 '항하사(恒河沙)'이다.

갠지스 강의 모래알 같이 많다는 뜻이다.

항하사의 억 배를 '아승기',
아승기의 억 배를 '나유타',
또 나유타의 억 배를 '불가사의' 라고 한다.

사람의 생각으로는 미치기 어려운 신비의 수가 된다.

그리고 이 불가사의의 억 배 쯤 되는 수를 "무량수" 라고 말한다.

선생님께서 참 ‘잘’ 했어요. 라고 할 때 그 ‘잘’이 어느 정도의 칭찬일까?

보통 억은 0이 8개이다. 잘은 0이 40개이다.

억.조.경.해.자.양.구.간.정.재.극.항.아.나.불.무.

"잘" 은 '정'에 해당하는 천문학적인 수로 소름끼칠 정도의 칭찬 같다.

이 엄청난 수의 세계를 알고 나면 100 년도 못사는 우리의 인생이 얼마나 짧은지를 실감하게 한다.

그러니 1년이란 세월은 그야말로 눈 깜짝할 순간이다.

이 무변광대한 우주, 이 무량대수의 기나긴 시간속에서 그저 찰나 같은 시간을 왔다가는 우리의 삶이 너무나 초라하고 보잘 것 없이 느껴진다.

그러나 이러한 삶의 촌음성이 바로 인생의 참 가치를 규정하는 근본이고, 철학적 사유의 원천이다.

우리의 만남이 소중한 이유도 그러하다.

이 넓은 천지 간에 이 땅에 태어나서 그 짧은 삶을 사는 동안 얽히고 설킨 세상사의 틈새에서 서로 만날 수 있다는  것,  그것은 확률적 계산으로는 도저히 불가능한 인연인 것이다.

옷깃만 스쳐도 인연이라는 말은 그래서 이해가 된다. 생즉거래(生則去來), 즉 만남과 헤어짐, 그것은 오고 가는 것이다.

'1겁'은 '43억 2천만 년'이라고 힌두교에서 말한다.

가로 15km, 세로 15km 크기의 네모난 거대한 화강암 반석을 100년에 1회씩 흰천으로 닦아 반석이 마모되어 없어지는 장구하고 영원한 세월이다.

소통의 단절, 애정의 단절, 신뢰의 단절은 인간적인 삶이 아니다.

이 짧은 세월 속에 우리는 화합하고 서로 사랑하며, 생명의 환희를 느끼며 살아가야 하는 것이다.

우리 인간이 만들어낸 숫자의 약속이지만 이제 그 광할함을 공부해 보니 정말 인간백세의 삶은 한 갓 먼지 한 톨만큼도 아닌 것 같다는 생각에 그저 작아지고 작아 질 뿐이네요.

그래도 한 번 이 세상에 태여났으니 너보다는 내가 잘 낫다는 이기심으로 살아 온 저 자신이 부끄럽기도 하고요.

글에서 처럼 넓고도 넓은 천지에서 우리 님과의 만남은 정말이지 저에게는 행운이였습니다.

If there's a common denominator in people's thoughts, it's probably, 'Time flies!'

In fact, time flies because the time we spend 365 days, 12 months, 1 week, 24 hours a day, 1 hour, 1 minute, and 1 second is too short.

We often use the word billion (億) in 數 to express "large". But it turns out that there are much more than billion.

Everyone knows well that 10,000 times of "billion" is called "Jo (兆)" and "Jo's 10,000 times is called "Gyeong."

However, the 10,000 times of "gyeong" is called "垓", the 10,000 times of "hae" is called "ja" (秭), and the 10,000 times of "ja" is called "Yang" (壤).

That's not all.

10,000 times more than "Yang" is "溝",
10,000 times more than "Goo" is "澗",
The 10,000 times of "Gan" is "Jeong",
10,000 times more than "Jeong" is "Jae (載)"
The 10,000 times of "jae" is called "the pole (極)."

This is not the end of the story. In Buddhism, "恒 沙" is the number that multiplies the number of poles.

It means there are many grains of sand on the Ganges River.

"A Seung-gi" is the most important part of his life,
"NAYUTA" is a song that's worth a billion times more than Ah Seunggi,
Also, Nayuta's hundreds of millions of times is called the "unfathomable."

It becomes a mystery that is hard to reach in human thought.

And a number that's a billion times more than this mystery is called a "countless number."

When the teacher says, "You did a good job," what kind of compliment is that?

In general, there are eight zeros. There are 40 zeros in a well.

It's very hard to understand. It's very hard to understand.

"Jal" is the astronomical equivalent of "Jeong" and seems like a creepy compliment.

Knowing this enormous number of worlds makes us realize how short our lives are, less than 100 years old.

So a year is a blink of an eye.

Our lives feel so shabby and insignificant if we just come and go for the same time in this endless universe, this infinite number of times.

However, this rustic nature of life is the foundation that defines the true value of life and is the source of philosophical thinking.

That's why our meeting is precious.

It is a relationship that is impossible by probabilistic calculation to be able to meet each other in the niche of the tangled world while being born in this land between heaven and earth and living that short life.

That's why it makes sense to say that it's fate just by touching the collar. In other words, life-time 則去來, meeting and breaking up, it comes and goes.

'1 fear' is '4.32 billion years' in Hinduism.

It is a long and eternal year in which a huge square granite rock measuring 15km wide and 15km long is wiped with white cloth once every 100 years, causing the rock to wear off.

The disconnection of

communication, the disconnection of affection, and the disconnection of trust are not human lives.

In these short years, we must live in harmony, love each other, and joy of life.

It's the promise of a number made by us humans, but now that I've studied its vastness, I think the life of a human centurion is not even a grain of fresh dust, so it just gets smaller and smaller.

Still, I'm ashamed of myself for living with selfishness that I'm better than you because I was born in this world once.

It was really lucky for me to meet you in a wide and wide heaven and earth like in the text.)
