현대를 사는 우리도 "샛문"과 "여백"의
아름다움이 필요하지 않을까요?
동양화 에서 여백은 무한한 의미를 내포하고 있습니다. 이 여백은 보는 이의 몫으로 구름, 새, 꽃, 나아가 보이지 않는 바람까지도 그려 넣을 수 있는 "여유의 공간"입니다.
우리는 수묵화의 넉넉함과 아름다움을 즐기면서도 자신의 마음을 비우는데는 인색합니다.
항상 위만 쳐다보고 달려가다 보니 고달프기도 하고 외롭습니다.
"적정한 소유가 마음의 평안을 주고 여유를 가진 삶이 풍요를 누린다." 는 진리를 우리는 대부분 지식으로 알고 있습니다.또한 너무 완벽하고 철두철미한 사람은 타인이 접근하기가 부담스럽고 경계의 대상이 되기도 합니다.
공자는 '물이 너무 맑으면 고기가 살 수 없는 것처럼 사람도 남의 옳고 그른 것을 계속 살피다보면 친구가 남아 있지 않는다.'고 했습니다.
약간 엉성하고 빈 틈이 있어야 함께 어우러지기도하고 서로 동화되기도 한다는 사실이 새삼스럽게 다가오는 아침입니다.
"돈을 귀히 여기는 자는 재물을 가지나, 사람을 귀히 여기는 자는 천하를 얻는다" 라는 말이 있습니다.
오늘도 귀한 주변의 사람들과 여백으로 서로
존경받는 날들이 계속 되길 바래봅니다.

Don't you need beauty?
In oriental painting, margins are infinitely meaningful. They are the "spaces" where the viewer can paint clouds, birds, flowers, and even the invisible wind.
We enjoy the richness and beauty of ink painting, but we are stingy in emptying our minds.
It's hard and lonely because I always look up and run.
Most of us know from our knowledge the truth that "proper possession gives peace of mind and a life of leisure enriches." Also, those who are too perfect and thorough are burdensome to access and subject to vigilance.
Confucius said, "Just as meat cannot live if the water is too clear, if a person keeps looking at other people's right and wrong, there are no friends left."
It's a new morning that we have to have a little sloppy and empty space to blend together and assimilate with each other.
There is a saying that "Those who value money have wealth, but those who
value people gain the world."
