용서와 사랑!🌲
어느 날 아버지가 아들에게 이웃집에 가서 낫을 좀 빌려 오라고 하였습니다.
그러나 아들은 빈손으로 돌아왔습니다!
며칠 뒤, 그 이웃이 호미를 빌리러 우리 집에 왔습니다.
그러자 아버지는 호미를 챙겨주었습니다.
이웃이 가고 난 후 아들은 아버지에게 물었습니다!
아버지!
저 사람은 우리에게 빌려주지 않았는데 우리는 왜 빌려주어야 하나요?"
아버지는 아들에게 이렇게 말했습니다.
아들아!
그 이웃이 우리에게 도움을 주지 않았다고 우리도 그렇게 한다면 그건 복수와 증오란다.
하지만 상대방의 행동이 어떠했든지 상관없이 필요할 때 도움을 주는 것은 용서이자 사랑이란다.
지금 우리들 마음속에서는 어떤 마음이 더 크게 자리 잡고 있나요?
